The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
